Product Introduction:
Sand and gravel filter is a commonly used primary filter in irrigation. Mainly used for primary filtration of surface water sources for irrigation (reservoirs, ponds, ditches, rivers, lakes, and other open water sources), it can separate algae, floating debris, and organic impurities in water.
The internal sand and gravel filter uses quartz sand as the filtering medium, and the filtration accuracy and effectiveness are determined by the internal filtration accuracy. At present, the filtration accuracy of the internal sand and gravel filter can reach about 80 mesh (quartz sand size is selected as 6-8mm), and the finer the medium, the higher the filtration accuracy, but the head loss will increase accordingly.
The sand and gravel filter can be used alone (without backwashing), in combination with multiple filters or in combination with other filters according to the requirements of water consumption and filtration accuracy.
▲ Working principle:
The sand and gravel filter is filtered through the medium, and the filtration accuracy depends on the accuracy of the medium. The water source for irrigation enters from the inlet at the upper part of the tank, and penetrates downwards through the movement in the gaps of the medium layer. Impurities are isolated in the upper part of the medium layer. Purified water enters the outlet through the medium and filtering elements, completing the filtration of irrigation water.
